Here is a link to the Citrix community blog site that provides the details.

My first question was, “What edition does this feature pack apply to? All of them? Even ADVANCED?” If so, Citrix would be on their way to huge success, provided the licensing costs don't increase with the new features.
But alas, it looks like only the Platinum customers get the good stuff. However, Advanced Edition users now get the application streaming service added which is significant. How about Workflow Studio? Does that manage XenServers? If so then the Advanced Edition users will see the benefit. Citrix will also benfit because then there will be a decent management utility for their free XenServer. That could pull away people thinking of migrating from VMware ESXi to ESX Foundations. ESXi has absolutely no management console with it. If all XenApp customers could manage XenServer with Workflow Studio then lookup VMware. If that's not the case then this announcement isn't as earth-shattering as it first sounds.

Good points. I was looking here for a better description of Workflow Studio: http://community.citrix.com/blogs/citrite/peter...
